If you’re over 50, tired of feeling behind with money, and done with advice that ignores your actual life, you’re in the right place.
You don’t need to read everything. You don’t need to do everything at once. You need one starting point that makes sense for where you are today.
A Little About Me First
I’m a Black woman who started with £586.61 in savings and a lot of quiet money anxiety.
I built a six-month emergency fund not by following hustle culture or pretending my life was simple, but by learning to manage money in a calm, intentional way at my own pace.
Her Money Muse exists because I know how powerful that shift is and because Black women deserve financial spaces that actually see us and speak to us properly.
First, Let Me Say This
If money still feels stressful, uncertain, or heavy, that does not mean you’ve failed.
Many Black women over 50 have:
- Spent years supporting others
- Navigated work, family, caregiving, and change
- Learned how to cope rather than feel financially secure
Her Money Muse exists to help you move from coping to feeling safe, steady, and in control.
This is a judgment-free space. Always.
Choose Your Starting Point
You don’t have to start at the beginning. Start with what feels most urgent or relevant right
now.
